Korean Air Provides Enhanced Air Travel Comfort For Pregnant Passengers
|Korean Air launches a new dedicated service for pregnant passengers onboard. Starting from 1 October, Korean Air provides a complimentary inflight amenity kit for pregnant passengers traveling from Seoul/Incheon to all its international destinations as part of its efforts to differentiate its inflight service. |
The newly launched amenity kit for pregnant passengers consists of an organic blackberry foot cream, an organic skin care cream, sleeping socks made of organic cotton, tea for relieving morning sickness and a bag accessory for pregnant women.
Especially, all skin care products and sleeping socks are made of organic materials with consideration for pregnant passengers' health, and tea for relieving morning sickness has been selected from one of the most popular organic Korean brands so-called 'The Organic'.
Also, a special bag accessory is added to the amenity kit to help passengers notify their pregnancy when they are in the early stage and the pouch of the kit has been designed with the 'Eco Concept' to deliver an environmental-friendly social message.
In order to use the amenity kit, passengers are requested to notify the airline about their pregnancy when making a reservation for their air tickets. Once onboard, cabin crews will provide the kit as well as their dedicated service to the designated pregnant passengers.
By launching the new amenity kit service, Korean Air expects to lessen the fatigue of air travel for pregnant passengers.
As a leading global carrier, Korean Air will continue its utmost efforts to provide innovative in-flight services to its customers.
