Finnair Celebrates Japanese Sakura
|Finnair will celebrate Japanese Sakura, or Hanami, the cherry blossom viewing for three weeks on Japan flights between March 26 and April 16.|
In Business Class a special Sakura menu will be introduced with the Sakura menu card. In Economy Class Sakura noodles and dessert will replace the current items.
Sakura menu will be served on all flights during the three weeks period of time. In addition, trolleys will be decorated with Sakura flowers. Customers can also enjoy L'Occidane Cherry Blossom fragrance in lavatories and with hot towels distributed in Business Class.
Cherry Blossom EdT and Fazer Geisha chocolate are introduced as inflight special items during the period. Marimekko will tailor special kimonos, yukatas for the cabin crew. The kimonos will be used for a week at a time on each route starting
- from Nagoya between March 26th and April 1st
- during the second week in Osaka from April 2nd to 8th, and
- during the last week in Tokyo between April 9th and 16th.
There will be three kimonos per flight. Kimonos will be worn during boarding and inflight sales.
