Vietjet Announces New Domestic Route From Ho Chi Minh City To Chu Lai
|Vietjet has announced the launch of a new domestic route between Ho Chi Minh City and Chu Lai.|
The new route will commence operations on 27 May 2015 with four flights every week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight will depart from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City at 7.45am (local time) and arrive at Chu Lai International Airport at 9.00am (local time). The return flight will take off from Chu Lai at 9.35am (local time) and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 10.50am (local time). The flight duration per section is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Located in the Quang Nam Province on the South Central Coast of Vietnam, Chu Lai is well known to be a sea port, urban industrial area and is the site of the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone. By launching this new route, Vietjet hopes to further boost tourism, economic development and potential trade relations between the region and other major cities across Vietnam.
Vietjet currently operates 150 flights per day with a fleet of 22 A320 Airbus aircraft on 28 routes domestically and internationally. Vietjet has daily flights from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City where travelers can easily connect to other cities within Vietnam via the airline's extensive network of domestic and international flights. The airline has also announced plans to increase the frequency of its Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City route from 30 May 2015.
