Top Travel Industry Figures Back Leaders In Sydney Summit
|Two of Australia's most influential travel industry executives have joined the forthcoming Leaders In Sydney summit, lending their support as corporate ambassadors ahead of the prestigious event. Graham Turner, founder and managing director of Australia's largest travel group, Flight Centre and A. Patrick Imbardelli, managing director of InterContinental Hotels Group, Asia Pacific, have both agreed to join the corporate ambassador team.|
An internationally respected line-up of elite speakers will address the inaugural summit - taking place 26-27 October 2005 at the Sydney Convention Centre, Darling Harbour -- including the former US president William J Clinton.
Looking forward to Leaders In Sydney, Mr Turner said: "This is a rare opportunity for Australian business leaders to learn from the experiences of some internationally-acclaimed experts. I expect them to show us that even the most optimistic of business goals are achievable if you approach the task with the right attitude and plenty of self-belief."
Mr Imbardelli added: "While the Asia Pacific region is a successful and thriving market in which to conduct business, there remains a huge range of opportunities to push the envelope with new products, synergistic ventures and cross-border expansions. Thought-leading events, such as Leaders In Sydney, provide the inspiration and insights which will help delegates identify, and make the most of these opportunities."
Leaders in Sydney follows on the heels of the incredible success Leading Minds has enjoyed at Leaders in Dubai (November 2004) and Leaders in London (October 2004) and will be part of a trio of leadership conferences in 2005 featuring a repeat summit in Dubai as well as one in Copenhagen, Denmark.
