Tiger Airways Partners With Hertz
|Tiger Airways, Singapore's low fare airline, has tied up with car rental company Hertz to offer car rental services to its passengers at attractive discounted rates. "We are pleased to partner with a premier car rental firm like Hertz to offer our passengers the convenience of booking a rental car at their destination from our website. Hertz, the world's largest car rental company, provides car rental services at more than 7,400 locations in over 150 countries. Under the partnership with Hertz, Tiger Airways customers will be offered special offers for car rentals in Thailand, Hong Kong and the Philippines. In Thailand and Hong Kong, customers will be given one day free rental and a 15 per cent discount while in the Philippines they will get a 20 per cent discount. The offer varies in terms of vehicle models and minimum rental period by country. Customers can get a quote or make a reservation by clicking on the Hertz link on the Tiger Airways website www.tigerairways.com and following the easy 3-step process.
Tiger Airways has tied up with several partners to offer its customers more value-added services. These include booking hotels through its website under a partnership with Octopustravel.com; a tie-up with Singapore Cable Car to offer passengers discounts for cable car rides, gift souvenirs, and food and beverage services by showing their boarding passes; an arrangement with participating vendors in Phuket to offer exclusive discounts for Tiger Airways passengers with the Tiger Trails Phuket program and the offer of a UOB Tiger Airways Visa Gold card.
Tiger Airways currently flies to 10 cities in six countries (Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Macau SAR, the Philippines and Indonesia. Flights to Krabi, Tiger Airways' 11th destination across Asia-Pacific, will commence on 30 October 2005 as well as pan-regional flights between Macau and Manila (Clark).
