National Car Rental Officially Relaunches Its Enhanced Web Site

 Streamlining the Internet reservation process for Emerald Club members and general customers alike, National Car Rental today officially relaunches its enhanced Web site - www.nationalcar.com - featuring the industry's first one-click process. The completely new booking engine allows National's Emerald Club members to reserve a car in a single click while also significantly enhancing the speed and overall ease-of-use of the general consumer reservation process.

The single-click feature, exclusive to Emerald Club members, is being trademarked under the name One Click Reservation(SM). One Click, the car rental industry's only one step reservation method, lets customers reserve a car in 60 seconds or less.

Emerald Club members need only supply pick-up and drop off information in order to reserve a car. The remainder of the renter's information is automatically populated through the Emerald Club member's on-file data profile. Then, with one click and the reservation is complete. A confirmation number is obtained immediately on-screen and via e-mail, if requested.

- A picture of the car types available in the desired location, allowing customers to view the car type they are reserving

- Same-page, interactive help services, avoiding time-consuming digressions to other screens

- The ability to compare rates for alternative car types.
