THRIFTY EXPANDS "BLUE CHIP GUARANTEE" TO ALL BLUE CHIP EXPRESS RENTERS
|Thrifty Car Rental, the first car rental company in the world to offer a satisfaction guarantee backed by a "one day free" policy, is expanding its "Blue Chip Guarantee" program to include all members of the company's Blue Chip Express Rental Program(r).|
Under the program, if a Blue Chip customer with a Blue Chip reservation in the U.S. or Canada is unhappy with any aspect of their Thrifty rental experience, they will receive the first day of their current rental absolutely free. Previously, only corporate and government Blue Chip customers were eligible for the guarantee program.
"Thrifty is delighted to be able to expand the Blue Chip Guarantee to all of our valued Blue Chip customers," said Scott Anderson, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Thrifty. "Thrifty is serious about offering a great service experience, and this new Blue Chip Guarantee indicates how confident we are about our ability to make that happen."
Customers enrolled in the Blue Chip Express Rental Program speed through the check-in process, picking up their car in about 60 seconds. Members of this free program provide a personal preference profile, and simply present a driver's license and credit card, sign the pre-printed rental agreement, and zip away in their car. Blue Chip is available at 130 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
