BUDGET JOINS TWA AVIATORS FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAM
|Budget Rent a Car announced a partnership with TWA Aviators, Trans World Airlines' frequent flyer program, effective this month.|
To celebrate its new partnership with TWA, Budget is offering TWA Aviators members triple miles (150 miles/paid rental day) from September 1, 1999 - December 15, 1999, for any rental on standard or CorpRate rates of three days or longer. To receive triple miles, TWA Aviators members should refer to their August/September newsletter for the special Budget Triple Miles Insert. Advance reservation is required, and blackout dates apply. The offer may not be combined with any other promotional offer, and customers may only earn miles/points/credits in one frequent traveler program for each qualifying rental.
As a new partner, TWA Aviators members can earn 50 Aviator miles per paid rental day for each qualifying rental at participating Budget locations worldwide. Members must present their TWA Aviators portfolio card at the time of rental, fly on TWA or any other partner airline in the Aviators program, and rent within 24 hours of the flight. Partner airlines include Air India, Alaska Airlines/ Horizon Air, Icelandair, Royal Jordanian Airline and Trans World Express.
"Our decision to partner with TWA was based largely on our mutually strong presence in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean," stated Mark Sotir, president, Budget Rent a Car Corporation, North America. "We have created this strategic alliance to help build and strengthen our business in key international markets where we anticipate growth."
Members of the TWA Aviators program also will enjoy Budget Fastbreak, the company's express service with paperless transactions. Available at more than 110 major market airports throughout the U.S., Fastbreak gets customers in their cars and on the highway in a matter of seconds. Members can enroll at one of more than 900 participating Budget locations across the U.S. and more than 150 Budget locations throughout Canada.
