| Tony Chamberlain, the Managing Director of the Staging Connections Group Limited, announced that Staging Connections has signed a three year exclusive agreement with Racing Victoria Limited (RVL) for the delivery of event staging services for all of RVL's events. Tony said that Staging Connections was delighted to be in partnership with RVL, the Victorian thoroughbred racing industry's governing body. "Staging Connections is delighted to announce the partnership with Racing Victoria Limited in 2010, the year that celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Melbourne Cup. "This year marks the beginning of a milestone partnership for Staging Connections and RVL. Our team is very excited about working with and delivering innovative world class event staging services to RVL and the patrons of the wider racing community. Staging Connections' world-class event staging services and the skills of our experienced team will enhance and deliver innovation to RVL events. "As a partner and with our national resources and international experience, we can offer RVL a number of benefits. Staging Connections also has the advantage of being the preferred inhouse partner at over 70 venues across the region so partnering with us at venues where we are inhouse delivers many advantages to our customers," Tony said. RVL is responsible for hosting the industry's premier events including the Spring Racing Carnival Launch, the Victorian Thoroughbred Racing Awards and the Australian Racehorse of the Year and Hall of Fame Awards. RVL's shareholders are Country Racing Victoria Inc (CRV), Melbourne Racing Club (MRC), Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) and the Victoria Racing Club (VRC). According to Staging Connections' Regional General Manager and GM of its' Melbourne operations, Haig Walker, Staging Connections will sponsor key RVL awards as part of this agreement. "Staging Connections will sponsor the Victorian Racehorse of the Year Award at the Victorian Thoroughbred Racing Awards on Sunday 8 August. Staging Connections will also sponsor the Hall of Fame Legend Award at the Australian Racehorse of The Year and Hall of Fame Awards on Sunday 5 September with other joint sponsors, Sky Racing World and Tabcorp.
