AsiaWorld-Expo: "Reach Out to the New Lantau Experience"
|The location of AsiaWorld-Expo, Asia's leading exhibition and events venue, offers an unparalleled opportunity to event organisers wanting to add prestigious value to their events. The venue features convenient access to neighbouring hotels and some of Hong Kong's leading tourist attractions, making it|
easy to create MICE events that blend business and leisure for an unforgettable, all-in-one experience on Lantau.
To promote this unique all-in-one experience, AsiaWorld-Expo joined hands with seven of its collaborative partners to hold a high-profile networking luncheon today for representatives of Professional Conference Organisers (PCO), Destination Management Companies (DMC) and Professional Event Organisers (PEO). The luncheon was part of a two-day tailor-made tour of the tourism experience that Lantau offers, including a special visit of "Baby and Mother Carnival" in AsiaWorld-Expo, a dining event at Novotel Citygate Hong Kong Hotel and a night's stay in Regal Airport Hotel in Lantau.
This fascinating tour, which was organized in association with AsiaWorld-Expo, Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel, Ngong Ping 360, Noah's Ark Hong Kong, Novotel Citygate Hong Kong Hotel and Regal Airport Hotel, aims to showcase the many ways in which Lantau enhances MICE events. In addition to easy access to such landmark attractions as Hong Kong Disneyland, Ngong Ping 360 and Noah's Ark, Lantau also offers world-class outlet shopping, top performance, the delights of green and cultural heritage and more. This exceptional breadth of attractions and activities makes Lantau an ideal destination for business travellers wanting to combine a MICE event with a family holiday.
"We are thrilled to welcome our esteemed PCO, DMC and PEO guests and show them how much Lantau has to offer MICE visitors," remarked Mr Allen Ha, Chief Executive Officer of AsiaWorld-Expo Management Limited. "This tour has been made possible through close collaboration with our strategic neighbouring partners here on Lantau. Collectively, we have an excellent understanding of what makes Lantau so special, and how Lantau can enrich the MICE experience for event delegates with its unique competitive advantages."
"We are very excited to be involved in this promotion," affirmed Ms Ivy Sung of Pacifc World Hong Kong. "Promoting Lantau as an all-in-one business and tourism destination is a great idea for business travellers. Although we're on a business trip today, there's so much to enjoy here on Lantau, the experience is a real pleasure."
To further promote Lantau, AsiaWorld-Expo and its seven collaborative partners today launched a major new promotion offering events a 10% discount on their total bill if the booking is confirmed on or before 30 September 2013 and the event takes place on or before 31 August 2014. There's never been a better time to enjoy all the delights of AsiaWorld-Expo's one-of-a-kind island location!
