Jacques Arnoux, Pacific World Founder, Retires
|Pacific World the global MICE player headquartered in Asia, announces the retirement of Jacques Arnoux with effect from 31 March 2013. |
Jacques Arnoux was the founder of Pacific World which was formed in Hong Kong in 1981. Under his leadership Pacific World expanded across Asia becoming the leading MICE business in the region. Jacques was instrumental in Pacific World's strategic development, selling the business to First Choice in 2006 (now part of TUI Travel PLC). Jacques remained Managing Director until O1 October 2011 and then became a member of the Non-Executive Board. In this role he accompanied the transformation of Pacific World to a global player.
Pacific World was relaunched and rebranded in November 2011 as a global brand recognised for delivering operational excellence, creativity and best-in-class customer service across the world. Herve JOSEPH-ANTOINE was appointed Global Managing Director in May 2012 and with his management board has been expanding Pacific World as a global DMC, Event Management and PCO brand.
