Langham Place Hotel's New Approach To International Communication
|The new Langham Place Hotel Hong Kong has announced a new approach to make hotel telephones cheaper and more user-friendly. The hotel is providing an in-room mobile WIFI phone which enables guests to go anywhere in the property, including the elevators and make or receive international calls at rates up to 50% cheaper than any other hotel in Hong Kong. |
Langham Place Hotel has been heralded as the most technologically advanced hotel in the world being the first all wireless, all-colour IP (Internet Protocol) telephony property in the hospitality business. With this perfect in-built infrastructure, the hotel now aims to pass on great savings to its corporate and leisure guests.
"We have built the infrastructure necessary to support the fastest and easiest communications and we want to use the technology to benefit our guests' pockets!" commented Jorgen Christensen, director of sales and marketing. "Guests of the hotel will enjoy both record breaking value for money and avoid the problems of bad connections or fuzzy international lines associated with using their own mobiles."
"Ultimate guest service is the philosophy behind all the hotel's technology features," stated Mr. Christensen. "We want guests to have as much convenience, comfort and accessibility as they do in their office and our revolutionary pricing structure coupled with best-in-class technology provide just that."
Cost Effective 'Communication Bundle'
To encourage usage, the Hotel has introduced a 'Communication Bundle' that includes unlimited use of broadband, unlimited local calls and 30 minutes of IDD calls to any destination worldwide for only HK$275 (or less than £20) per day.
