Motorola's Multiservice Networks Division Expands Its Channel Strategy in Asia Pacific

 During its successful Far East Channel Partner Conference in Sanya, Hainan Island PRC February 17-20, Motorola's Multiservice Networks Division (MND) announced its new Momentum Partner Program for Asia Pacific channel partners. Covering all the basics such as lead distribution, availability of collateral and ad materials, and marketing support, the Momentum Program includes extensive Internet-based programs, and substantial increases in co-op and promotion funds. Through this comprehensive and easy-to-use partner program, Motorola intends to greatly expand its channel sales by working more closely with its reseller partners to help them generate leads and new business opportunities.

"To maintain our MOMENTUM as a leader in the converging data and voice networking market, we have developed comprehensive marketing programs geared towards generating new business opportunities for our channel partners," stated Philip Chan, VP and General Manager for Motorola Asia Pacific Internet and Networking Group Multiservice Networks Division. All Momentum Partners have access to advertising and public relations support, frequent and informative partner communications, pre-product launch information, educational and training discounts as well as a variety of pre- packaged Motorola marketing programs. In addition, Partners are entitled to co-op and marketing funds that have been significantly expanded. These funds may be used for tradeshow and seminar support, advertising support and to take advantage of any of the wide variety of Momentum marketing programs.
