OAG Signs Partnership Agreement with Neomar

OAG and Neomar have announced an agreement that enables users of personal digitial assistants (PDAs) to access critical OAG travel content and services through Neomar's WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) microbrowser and Mobile Portal, available soon on the Motient eLinkSM and in the future on additional PDAs such as the Palm and other Research In Motion devices.

As part of this partnership, visitors to OAG on Neomar's Mobile Portal will be able to instantly and effortlessly access the most comprehensive and independent flight schedule information available - including millions of direct and connecting flights from over 800 airlines - as well as register for the OAG E-Notification service, which provides up-to-date information on the status of a booked flight. With the OAG E-Notification service, travelers can request an update to be automatically sent to them via their PDA, as well as their e-mail address, as changes occur.

Neomar's Mobile Portal is powered by Neomar's WAP microbrowser, which delivers content specifically formatted for wireless devices using WML 1.1, a wireless equivalent of HTML. WAP has become a standard for developing narrowband content by making it possible to adapt Web content to mobile devices.

"Our agreement with Neomar represents another important step in our vision to empower frequent travelers and enterprises with premier travel management solutions on the most appropriate media," said Max Lane, Publishing General Manager at OAG. "Partnering with a technology innovator such as Neomar enables us to deliver the global, independent information travelers need, seamlessly integrated to our users across a full range of access options."

"Mobile professionals need to have always-on, wireless access to information that is critical to them, and the latest flight schedules certainly meet that criteria," said Martin Buhr, Vice President of Business Development at Neomar. "That OAG is also the travel information provider of choice for a large number of enterprises also means it makes sense for our two companies to provide OAG on the Neomar portal, as we are focused on delivering critical information and applications to business and the enterprise."

OAG is the first content provider of worldwide airline schedule information on Neomar's Mobile Portal, which is accessible at www.neomar.com. OAG joins a host of other "best in breed" content providers that provide essential information and services, including CNet News.com, weather.com and mySimon.com. OAG worldwide airline schedules will be available free to Neomar customers for a limited time. It will debut on the Neomar Mobile Portal in early Fall.
