TRX And Woodside Travel Trust Sign Global Deal To Promote Multiple TRX Applications For WTT Shareholder Agencies
|TRX, Inc. and Woodside Travel Trust (WTT) announced today that the two organizations have reached an agreement to provide WTT partner agencies with reduced-cost access to TRX applications and services. This strategic technology partnership solidifies the reputations of both TRX and WTT as recognized leaders in providing best-of-breed technology solutions for the travel industry. The new pact also provides a springboard for additional strategic initiatives between the two companies.|
"This now enables WTT to provide multinational customers with a consistent technology platform and will ultimately allow all of our shareholders' customers to receive the benefit of this relationship," said Ivan Michael Schaeffer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Woodside Travel Trust. This is best exemplified by the participation of TRX in the WTT exhibition at the National Business Travel Association Convention and Tradeshow in Los Angeles this week, where they are demonstrating our global technological edge borne of this new relationship."
TRX's proprietary technology comprises a suite of e-commerce software applications that are scalable and reliable. Applications covered in this agreement include:
* The CRS Screen Highlighter(r) point-of-sale application, already in use at multiple WTT sites around the world;
* CoRRe(r) and EnCoRReSM transaction finishing and quality control applications;
* ResAssistSM online booking application;
* MeetingAssist web-based meeting management and consolidation; and
* ProfileSync.comSM profile management software.
Mr. Schaeffer went on to state that "This relationship, at its inception, will enable WTT shareholders to avail themselves of the technology at sharply reduced prices and creates the opportunity to service bureau critical mid-office quality control operations."
