easi Solutions plc Chooses Alcatel And Nextenso

 easi Solutions plc, the world's leading developer of smart card driven guest room technology, announced the signing of an agreement with Alcatel and their subsidiary Nextenso. Under this agreement Alcatel will deliver licenses of the Nextenso software suite to cover all installations of the e@si System™, globally. This allows users of the e@si Mall™ complete device independence, unique levels of personalization and the highest security during e-commerce transactions via the e@si Card™.

Alcatel's leading new generation Internet portal software company, Nextenso, offers a rich and modular suite of applications and services for creating and managing multi-device Internet portals accessible from PCs, WAP phones, PDAs, Internet televisions, etc. Nextenso will provide software to easi Solutions enabling them to create and manage a personalised version of the e@si Mall™ (http://www.easimall.com/).

The contract also includes the delivery of dedicated software solutions as well as professional services from Alcatel Norway.
