Multinational Contract Award For HRG

 International corporate travel services provider Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) has been appointed by FKI Logistex (FKIL), a worldwide leader in automated material handling solutions, as its corporate travel management provider on a multinational basis. The first phase of implementation will cover FKIL's operations in the UK with the remaining European and Asia Pacific operations rolling out over the next 12 months.

HRG was awarded the three-year contract, covering FKIL's full travel management needs, following an eight-way pitch. FKIL were particularly focused on their chosen solutions provider's ability to apply corporate leverage to obtain better value for the business in terms of cost, quality and service delivery. The rigorous procurement process not only included financial considerations and formal tendering, but also national and international site audits, systems and process assessment and real-time pricing trials.

FKIL will also be implementing several technology solutions to help increase efficiencies for corporate travellers and assist in the consolidation process for FKIL overall. This will include the introduction of HRG i-Suite, the web-based portal that acts as a personalised electronic travel assistant delivering powerful tools and data at any time from any location. Through HRG i-Suite FKIL will have access to full traveller tracking (HRG Travel Watch), online reporting (HRG Reporting) and self-service reservations (HRG Online).
