Chris L. Wheeler Joins SITE Foundation Board of Trustees

 Chris L. Wheeler, Executive Director, Global Incentive Sales at Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas, has been named to the SITE Foundation Board of Trustees. He will fill the board vacancy resulting from the resignation of Larry Luteran, formerly with Hilton Worldwide.

"As the newest Foundation Trustee, Chris received enthusiastic support from both the SITE Foundation Board of Trustees and the SITE Board of Directors. His contributions to SITE over the years have been deep, broad and consistent and his support of the Foundation's major fundraising efforts are well known. Chris' enthusiasm to contribute even more through personal service as a Trustee is welcomed with the deepest gratitude," said Jane E. Schuldt, CIS, CITE, President, World Marketing Group, Ltd. and chair of the Foundation nominating committee. "Chris presents the perfect example of the difference one member can make to an organization."

Wheeler commented, "Having been a member of SITE for over 20 years, I am excited to be joining the Foundation Board as a Trustee. It is an honor to have been chosen and I look forward to working with the other dynamic people on the board whose support and contributions ensure the organization's success."

Prior to joining Atlantis in 2001, Wheeler was director of field sales and national accounts at Landry & Kling, Meetings at Sea and account manager for corporate and incentive sales at Norwegian Cruise Lines. He began his hospitality industry career with the Walt Disney World Company in guest relations and seminars.

In addition to the very successful SITE Nite Europe, held in conjunction with IMEX Frankfurt, the SITE Foundation has two more premier fundraising events scheduled for 2015: the SITE Classic, 27-30 October at the Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Perla, Riviera Maya, Mexico and SITE Nite North America, 12 October, at the Omnia Nightclub -- Ceasars Palace, held during IMEX America week in Las Vegas.
