Vanguard Rental Expands Presence In Austria
|Demonstrating its commitment to continue to expand its presence throughout Europe, Vanguard Rental, the parent company for the National and Alamo brands, has signed a franchise agreement with Denzel AG, Austria's leading motor dealer and automotive services group. The new agreement makes Denzel AG a full franchise partner for National and enables the company to handle Alamo's inbound business, supporting both corporate and leisure customers. |
Denzel has been handling in-bound business for National and Alamo since 2003 and will now take responsibility to grow the presence of both brands in the domestic Austrian market.
Established in 1938, Denzel has a vast network of motor dealership operations throughout Austria, working with all the major motor manufacturer marques. The company has also demonstrated a firm commitment to the rental marketplace over the last decade. In 1997, Denzel pioneered Austria's first car sharing scheme, DENZELDRIVE. Operated through a card system with 200 locations across Austria, DENZELDRIVE offers members fast, cost-effective access to cars -- delivering a viable alternative to car ownership.
Working with the National brand will help the expansion of DENZELDRIVE, as well as identifying other development opportunities in the corporate and leisure travel markets.
