National Car Rental Expands Business Travel Agent Offering
|Following the success of Pack15, the dedicated product for business travel agents working with SME's, National Car Rental is extending its availability and has expanded the product to include 51 countries. It remains one of the simplest car rental products on the market today with the added benefit of 15% commission paid on the total rental rate to travel agents.|
Pack15 was originally launched in June 2003 following extensive research with business travel agents which revealed that just three car groups formed the majority of car rental bookings. So to keep things simple, Pack15 offers these three car types to choose from -- economy, compact and intermediate - and just two price brands -- 1 to 2 days, or 3 days or more. Originally launched to the European market and comprising 27 countries, the product was expanded to include the Middle East and South Africa, and has now grown even further to encompass 51 countries*, including the US and Canada.
Pack15 is specifically designed for business travel agents, to help them maximise sales opportunities within their local SME markets by using a combination of competitive, all inclusive rates and an uncomplicated sales proposition. The continued expansion of the product and the growth of countries involved is testament to its resounding success.
"At National we are very proud of Pack15 and believe its popularity lies in its simplicity and offer of 15% commission to travel agents whilst allowing them to enhance the service they provide to the key SME markets", comments David McNeill, Head of EMEA International Corporate Accounts at National Car Rental.
"Since its launch in 2003, we have continued to develop the product to provide a more comprehensive and global offering. This expansion now enables travel agents and business travel consortia to sell car rental worldwide."
Pack15 is bookable via GDS using contract ID PACK15 or agents can call their nearest National Car Rental reservation centre to book.
