Hertz Becomes First Car Rental Company To Launch In Algeria
|Hertz has become the first international company to make car rental available in Algeria. The second largest country in Africa now has three Hertz locations operating in Algiers, one in Oran and one in Annaba, offering over 120 vehicles for hire. |
The franchise is operated by local company, Caronline, which has been in operation in Algeria since 2004. Hertz services, such as Chauffeur Drive and hotel deliveries, are offered across the five locations, and a full selection of vehicles is available to hire, including four wheel drives.
André Gallin, director of franchise in Africa, comments: "Having researched the market, we felt that the time was right to introduce Hertz in Algeria. The economy is strengthening and over the coming years we expect to see a huge development in tourism. We are proud to be the first international car hire company to be operating in Algeria, offering both leisure and business travellers the innovative services enjoyed by our customers worldwide."
