National Makes Vehicle Rental Billing Easy in the UK

Keeping track of travel budgets while renting just got easier, with Dynamic Currency Conversion from National Car Rental*. Now overseas customers renting in the UK are given the option to have their rental costs converted into their billing currency so that they know exactly how much they will pay -- and have the choice of which currency they wish to pay in.

At the check out desk, overseas customers will be asked if they want to pay in their billing currency. The rate of exchange used at check out will be held and applied during the course of the rental with National and the final charges on the credit card statement will reflect that rate of exchange. Overseas customers have the benefit of knowing in advance what the cost will be at the end of the rental. They will also avoid any adverse fluctuations in foreign exchange rates.

The service, which reflects National's commitment to invest in systems designed to make every aspect of travelling as easy and straightforward as possible, is currently available in 12 major currencies and at all of National's UK locations, helping travellers all over the world enjoy stress free car rental with National. "Dynamic Currency Conversion is yet another service designed to take the hassle out of travel and help our customers control costs" confirmed Rebecca Madden, Director, EMEA Corporate Marketing at National Car Rental.

"Now there are no surprises when the credit card statement comes in, because National allows travellers to see exactly what they're paying, when they pay for it. This new service makes it easier than ever to enjoy the comfort of a National vehicle and keep an eye on the travel budget."
