Hertz UK Offers Premium Brand Child Seats & Fitting Service
|Hertz is introducing Britax infant carriers, child and booster seats in the UK and other countries throughout Europe. A fitting service by fully trained personnel has also been introduced, along with multilingual fitting instructions for parents. |
Britax was selected by Hertz as it has been leading the way in child car seat design and innovation for over 30 years. Britax offers a premium brand that will provide reassurance to Hertz customers, and has a safety record that consistently sets standards.
Bal Dhaliwal, Manager -- Operations Services at Hertz, said: "We have had an agreement with Britax for a year now, it has been incredibly successful and as a result, we are very pleased to be taking this relationship forward. Hertz is keen to offer our customers safe, well designed and comfortable child restraint systems; the Britax range enables us to do this."
Luke Burns, Commercial Director at Britax said: "We are delighted and proud to be a partner of Hertz; the partnership just makes perfect sense. Hertz mirrors our own brand values which focus around the safety of your child when travelling, be it in your own vehicle or a hire vehicle. Over 60% of children travel without the appropriately fitted seat, that why it was so important for us to get involved with training Hertz staff to ensure seats are correctly fitted."
Children under three must use an appropriate child restraint when traveling in any car or goods vehicle. Youngsters aged three or more years old and up to 135cm (approx 4ft 5in) in height must use an appropriate child restraint when traveling in cars or goods vehicles fitted with seat belts. Rear-facing baby seats must not be used in seats with an active frontal air-bag.
Customers should book their seat when they reserve their vehicle either online or by calling reservations, who have been trained to advise on the correct seat to choose For more information about Hertz and child restraint systems, log on to www.hertz.co.uk or call 08708 44 88 44. In addition, child restraint system guidance leaflets are available at all locations.
