First Class Cars Eyes Middle East Market

UK luxury ground transportation specialist First Class Cars will be distinctive at next week's Middle East Business Aviation Show and exhibition (MEBA) as the sole chauffeur drive company participating with a Stand. Number 59)

CEO Graham Coate will use the opportunity to meet with the growing number of Middle East operators who regularly fly into the UK and Europe to offer them a seamless, high quality VIP service on the ground. "We are exhibiting at MEBA because we are seriously looking at positioning vehicles in Dubai -- as well as to add to our client list of jet operators who regularly fly to the UK from the Gulf. We are keen to pursue three to four day bookings, where we can provide a driver and luxury car to support a client for the duration of their stay and be at their full disposal while in the UK on business."

First Class Cars owns a 35-strong fleet of vehicles including the S-Class Mercedes saloon, Mercedes Viano, Chrysler Grand Voyager, Bentley Continental Flying Spur, plus a brand new addition to the fleet, the Rolls-Royce Phantom. All vehicles in the First Class fleet are immaculate in sleek black and beautifully appointed inside with sumptuous leather and wood finish.

The company marks its 10th birthday next year and Graham believes the success of its business, in the private aviation arena of late, is its ability to be fully adaptable to the needs of business aviation. "Business jets and executive helicopters often have to divert from their chosen destination because of poor weather, a client changing his mind about where he wants to go, meetings over-running, etc. Private aircraft position where clients want them and we can be there to meet the aircraft with the shortest of notice." He notes that the VLJ business model is an especially interesting sector, where aircraft will stay at an airport until it is booked again, saving on positioning costs. "We are well placed and keen to support this sector," he said.

First Class Cars uses a state-of-the-art vehicle tracking system, which provides updates of vehicle positions every 60 seconds. "Upon taking a call, we can despatch a vehicle within two to three minutes and have the flexibility to manage vehicle movements effectively, avoiding any unexpected delays." Also, key to serving the demanding business jet market, the company uses a sophisticated flight tracking system, enabling it to monitor the precise arrival times of jets, saving clients and charter brokers waiting time and cost.

First Class Cars is headquartered at London Luton Airport, serving key fixed based operations (FBO) clients based at the airport. Six months ago the company opened a new facility at London Stansted Airport, a decision taken in response to the airport's growing popularity for business aviation. Here, First Class Cars is supporting the FBOs and a number of privately owned jets.

First Class Cars was founded in 1999. It boasts a discerning clientele from the music and film industries, who demand a high level of service, plus numerous blue chip companies. First Class Cars also has global connections through affiliates in Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Washington DC and Sydney. It is also currently committing to becoming 'carbon neutral.'
