Hertz Prestige Collection Enters Europe

Following the successful launch of Hertz Prestige Collection in North America in 2001, Hertz has launched its Prestige Collection at select European destinations. Combining a range of high quality vehicles with Hertz' exclusive customer services, the Hertz Prestige
Collection in now available in England, Germany and France.

Brian J. Kennedy, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, commented, "The Hertz Prestige Collection complements Hertz' core business with a new niche market for prestige vehicles and first class service. Before launching the collection in North America, we believed there would be a market for luxury rentals among business travelers, vacationers, people traveling to special events and those who just want to try out a great car or SUV. Our thoughts have been confirmed and we've been pleased with the response of our customers. Expanding the Hertz Prestige Collection to select European cities is a logical move for us."

Introduced with the discerning renter in mind, the European Prestige Collection features luxury vehicles such as the Volvo S80 and V70, the Mercedes CLK Convertible, Mercedes E and S Class, BMW 5 and 7 Series, all of which can be reserved by model. Service aspects of Hertz' European Prestige Collection include:

* Model specific reservability of vehicles
* Dedicated on-site staffing to assist customers and escort them to their cars
* Vehicles parked in easily accessible dedicated parking bays
* Vehicle specific user guides will highlight key benefits and features
* Reservable through Hertz' toll-free reservations line or through one's local travel agent
* All cars hand detailed before rental.

Initially, the Prestige Collection is available at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports in England as well as the company's downtown London Marble Arch location; at Charles De Gaulle and Nice Airports in France, and at Frankfurt, Munich and Dusseldorf Airports in Germany. Additional locations will be added during 2003.
