Hertz Partners With Royal Jordanian To Give Frequent Flyers Global Car Rental Benefits
|Hertz has entered into a new partnership with Royal Jordanian to provide preferential rates and special rewards to members of the airline's frequent flyer programme, Royal Plus, while also offering global car rental benefits to all other customers booking flights online.|
As a result of the new three-year agreement, Royal Plus members can immediately take advantage of best available rates on car rentals at Hertz locations across the airline's international network of 59 destinations, while earning 500 Royal Plus miles for each booking.
This doubles up to 1,000 Royal Plus miles for those booking cars from the Hertz Prestige Collection which includes luxury brands like Mercedes, BMW and Porsche.
An extra attraction for Royal Plus members is that they can take advantage of exclusive year-round promotions and offers through a new dual branded HertzLink booking platform accessed from the airline's website.
The new agreement is also good news for all other Royal Jordanian passengers who are now able to enjoy best available rates when booking car rentals at over 8,500 Hertz locations worldwide via the car rental booking tab at rj.com.
Additionally, they can take advantage of exclusive promotions and offers year-round when booking online, have access to pre-paid and non pre-paid rates, and receive instant confirmation and guarantee of booking.
Michel Taride, President Hertz International and Executive Vice President Hertz Corporation, said: "We are very happy to have established a partnership with Royal Jordanian, and view this as an opportunity to build a lasting working relationship based on strong business synergies.
"We are both committed to ensuring that our customers benefit from the latest innovations, developments and enhancements in travel service, comfort and ease of access. Hertz looks forward to providing Royal Plus members, and may other Royal Jordanian passengers, with many attractive car rental offers, as well as great service around the world."
Royal Jordanian President/CEO Amer Hadidi added: "We are pleased to work with Hertz, a worldwide leading car rental brand. Through our partnership with Hertz, we enhance the passenger's travel experience by delivering more benefits. Our vision is to expand our partners' network and thus reward our loyal customers with generous, non-airline services.
"We understand that our customers look for further privileges, therefore we are working on new partnerships that go beyond earning air miles to include many other comprehensive services, thus meeting the demands of our passengers and boosting their satisfaction."
The global car rental benefits created by the partnership with Royal Jordanian will be equally beneficial for business travellers needing their own transport for meetings and sightseeing, and for leisure travellers choosing a Hertz rent-a-car to embark on holiday road trips.
In both cases, car rentals are made easy by the presence of helpful staff at Hertz locations at airports and cities across the Royal Jordanian network.
Hertz, the world's largest general use car rental brand, has a strong presence in the Middle East and Africa region, with 11 Hertz franchisees in the Middle East and 23 in Africa, and a total of 66 locations in the Middle East and 161 outlets in Africa, offering a wide range of car rental and leasing services.
Hertz locations across the region offer customers the most modern fleet of vehicles in the market and guarantee quality, safety and reliability. All cars are fully insured and undergo a 40-point quality check-up prior to rentals and there are round-the-clock support services available to all customers.
Royal Jordanian, a private company, was established in 1963 as the national air carrier of Jordan. Its vision is to be the Airline of choice connecting Jordan and the Levant with the world.
