Hertz Wins UK's Sales Operation Of The Year Award

 Hertz was recently crowned the winner of the Sales Operation of the Year Award, sponsored by Miller Heiman, as part of the prestigious National Business Awards, held on Tuesday 11th November 2003. Hertz beat off stiff competition to receive its "business Oscar" before an audience of more than 1,200 business leaders and VIPs at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. Commenting on the award, Mark Tristram Walmsley, Sales and Marketing Director for Hertz UK Ltd, said: "Hertz has an impressive story in the UK, where we have seen sales grow in a difficult market. The implementation of a five-year plan with the aim of market leadership provided the catalyst that has seen customer satisfaction levels at 97% with customer retention at 100% over the last two years. Now only three years into that plan Hertz is well on track to exceed its aims."

The runners up for Sales Operation of the Year Award were: O2, Vodafone UK, Fujitsu Services Limited and Lloyds TSB Autolease.
