National Car Rental EMEA Puts The Business Driver First At BTS 2005
|Business travel is generally endured rather than enjoyed, frequently taking place during an individual's personal time (early in the morning or late at night) and often involving considerable stress (delays, unknown cities, etc). Acknowledging this, National Car Rental, the corporate daily rental specialist, is launching a series of new initiatives for business travellers that will be showcased at Business Travel Show 2005. |
"Recent research amongst corporate travel agents and travel buyers across Europe has reinforced the fact that business travellers - and their employers - want a service that exactly matches their particular requirements", confirmed Ron Santiago, Vice President International Sales and Marketing, EMEA for National Car Rental. "With most business travel done in an individual's own time, the last thing they need is hassle or delays. And employers need to know personnel are travelling safely and efficiently.
"Our focus for 2005 is, therefore, on making the vehicle rental process as stress free as possible for the business customer -- from initial reservation and collection to return delivery and billing. And our extensive corporate experience gives us the ability to deliver on this promise in over 83 countries and more than 3,200 locations worldwide."
New York Prize Draw
As well as introducing a number of new initiatives at Business Travel Show 2005, National is also offering business travellers, travel agents and buyers the chance to win a trip to New York. All visitors have to do is complete the entry form on the stand for the chance to win this exclusive prize, as well as go into the draw for runner up prizes of weekend rentals from National's sister company, prestige vehicle specialist, Guy Salmon.
New Initiatives for 2005
Safety and convenience are the key drivers behind the new developments from National Car Rental to be featured at Business Travel Show 2005 including:
Safer International Driving
Visitors to Business Travel Show will be able to learn about Drive Safe, a new initiative to help business and leisure travellers drive safely, scheduled for launch in Quarter 1 2005.

Streamlining Vehicle Rental Administration
Whilst much of National's focus is on the business driver, it is also developing a number of initiatives to streamline the administration of daily rental services for corporates. These include the extension of its already proven e-billing services throughout EMEA and the introduction of an international online self-booking service for drivers.

National Car Rental has also announced the extension of its participation in the Visa World's Best Offers programme. All Visa cardholders can take advantage of this highly competitive global promotion to book cars at a discounted rate from one of National's 3,200 locations worldwide. The
