| July 05, 2010 Macdonald Hotels Appoints Dax As Sales Manager | |
| Liz Dax is returning to the Macdonald Hotels & Resorts group as Sales Manager for its new boutique town house property, which opens in the heart of Windsor town centre in September. Mainly new build, the 120-bedroom Macdonald Windsor Hotel occupies the site of the former John Lewis Caleys store opposite the Guildhall and Windsor Castle. Beginning her career in hospitality as a Trainee Manager at the neighbouring Castle Hotel, Windsor in 1997, Liz has since worked at prestigious properties within the Macdonald Hotels & Resorts group such as the Bath Spa and the Queen's Hotel, Cheltenham. More recently she headed up the operation of re-launching and developing an award-winning family restaurant business in Dorney. Commenting on her new appointment Liz said: "I am delighted to have the opportunity to work on such an exciting new project for Macdonald Hotels. It is a pleasure to be launching such an elegant, stylish property back in my home town of Windsor and I look forward to working with the Macdonald team once again."
