Tourism Whistler Offers An Irresitable "Girls" Weekend Getaway

 Tourism Whistler has designed a unique weekend package especially for women looking for a little pampering this fall. The Girls Weekend Getaway package features two nights accommodation at one of Whistler's fine hotels, a gourmet cooking lesson and spa treatment starting at $285CDN ($195US) per person available through November 18, 2001. It's an ideal time to escape the fall blues and indulge with Whistler's many indoor luxuries before the busy winter season gets underway. "Fall is a perfect time to escape to the great indoors and experience Whistler's premier accommodations, luxurious spa treatments and a cooking lesson at the Whistler Cooking School," says Jill Greenwood Director of Brand Marketing for Tourism Whistler. "Most people come to Whistler for outdoor activities during the summer and winter seasons, but this is a chance to try some of our other specialties."

Whistler has become a haven for galleries, spas, shopping, and fine dining and now boasts the Whistler Cooking School. The village offers a wide array of accommodations ranging from five star and boutique hotels to quaint bed and breakfasts.
