|Hampton by Hilton continues its expansion in Mexico by announcing the opening of Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Aguascalientes. The new-build, 188-room hotel managed by Hilton Worldwide joins the global brand of more than 2,000 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites and Hampton by Hilton hotels. It is the first Hampton property in Aguascalientes and the 18th in the country.|
"We are pleased to bring Hamptonality to Aguascalientes and proud the Hampton brand is initiating Hilton's presence in this historical, recreational and industrial city," said Phil Cordell, Global Head, Focused Service and Hampton Brand Management, Hilton Worldwide. "It is our major goal to continue expanding Hampton's presence worldwide and our newest location will provide those traveling to Mexico with a convenient location close to the city's main business areas."
Located within the Plaza Boreal, Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Aguascalientes features a contemporary and vibrant exterior featuring a crystal blue and white façade with orange-accents. The new hotel offers convenient access to Plaza Boreal's attractions including an ice-skating rink and bowling alley, as well as variety of shops, restaurants and proximity to the industrial zone of the city. As the closest hotel to Aguascalientes International Airport with complimentary shuttle service to the airport and within a 15 km area, the hotel is the ideal destination for both leisure and business travelers.
"Aguascalientes is an ideal location for our newest hotel in Mexico, with its focus on economic growth, continued infrastructure development and industrial strength," said Tom Potter, senior vice president, Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America for Hilton Worldwide. "The opening of Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Aguascalientes is a welcome addition to our growing portfolio throughout the country."
Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Aguascalientes offers amenities, such as free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool, state-of-the-art fitness center -- the largest of its kind in the city and boasting panoramic views, an 870 square foot conference room and a 24-hour business center. The new hotel also features Hampton's Perfect Mix Lobby, designed as an extension of the guestroom with a variety of seating and lighting options for both leisure and business travelers. Hampton Hotels offers free daily Hampton's On the House(r) hot breakfast and Hampton On the Run(tm) breakfast bags, available Monday through Friday. Guestrooms are equipped with a 39-inch flat-screen TV and an ergonomic desk.
While known for its business appeal, Aguascalientes also offers an array of options for those seeking leisure. The city of Aguascalientes has been nicknamed "el corazón" which means "the heart" of Mexico because of its location in the middle of the country, where visitors can enjoy the destination's colonial beauty and cleanliness. In addition to a number of historic sites, Aguascalientes is home to the Feria de San Marcos -- a traditional four century old national fair.
Hampton Hotels fosters a unique culture of hospitality called Hamptonality. This term describes each hotel's approach to friendly customer service, anticipating guests' needs and providing travelers with helpful suggestions about area attractions, historical facts and fun things to do around town. Additionally, hotels are infused with local photography and artwork, highlighting each property's connection and support to its own community.
