Hilton Selects Viper Tradeshow Services For Branson Convention Center

The Branson Convention Center, managed by Hilton Hotels Corporation, has selected Viper Tradeshow Services as its preferred general contractor for the Convention Center. The Branson Convention Center, which is scheduled to open August 2007, selected Viper for its experience in providing a comprehensive array of tradeshow management services for small to mid-sized shows nationwide. Those services include warehousing, furnishings and general décor supplies. The Branson Convention Center's 220,000 square foot space is positioned to successfully attract this target market.

"We are excited to welcome Viper Tradeshow Services to the Branson Convention Center," said William Tirone, Director of Sales and Marketing, Hiltons of Branson. "Viper's expertise and experienced professionals are a perfect fit for the type of tradeshows the Branson Convention Center will be hosting."

"Viper is proud to join the existing partnership between Hilton and Branson, two brands that are synonymous with outstanding guest service," said Bryan Olis, President and CEO, Viper Tradeshow Services. "What Viper brings to this partnership is 80 years of combined tradeshow experience and a commitment to complete satisfaction for our customers."

The Branson Convention Center is an integral part of Branson Landing, a new $45 million shopping and entertainment district being built on the shores of scenic Lake Taneycomo. The project includes premium retail shops, restaurants and two new Hilton Hotels. The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is scheduled to open in October 2006, while the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel is set to open in July 2007.

Hilton is managing the Convention Center in cooperation with the City of Branson, owner of the Convention Center. By managing and marketing the facility, Hilton is able to offer an unprecedented single contact for hotel and convention services.

When completed, the Branson Convention Center will have the capacity to accommodate up to 4,500 attendees at a time. The facility's interior includes a 50,000 square foot exhibit hall, a 23,000 square foot ballroom and five meeting rooms ranging in size from 1,200 to 5, 500 square feet. Convention Center guests will enjoy the signature level of service for which Hilton Hotels has been recognized for the past 85 years, as well as the latest in cutting-edge meeting technology and wireless communication.
