Palm Beach County Convention Center Update
|Palm Beach County Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced the selection of Global Spectrum as the Management Company to operate Palm Beach County's future 330,000 sq. ft. Convention Center. Global Spectrum is a Comcast-Spectacor Company, which is a division of the Comcast Corporation.|
The Center scheduled to open in May 2003, will be located in downtown West Palm Beach adjacent to the beautiful $600,000,000 CityPlace and the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.
"The selection of Global Spectrum gives the Center a first class management team to operate our future state-of-the-art facility," said Ken Foster, General Manager of the Convention Center. The Construction Contractor will be chosen early next month from a field of the top companies in the world.
