Keystone Resort Doubles The Size Of Its Award Winning Conference Center

Keystone Conference Center, the largest conference and convention facility in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, recently completed a $25 million expansion to offer corporate meeting planners a choice of more than 100,000- square-feet of meeting, exhibit and function space. Keystone provides the size and high-tech capabilities comparable to most major city convention centers while offering a spectacular, inspiring and scenic setting.

Adjacent to the Continental Divide and nestled among Lodgepole pines, Keystone Conference Center is located 75 miles west of Denver International Airport. The new expansion connects to the existing conference center. The new 20,000-square-foot Columbine Ballroom complements the 16,000-square-foot Colorado Rockies Ballroom, and the 4,000-square-foot Castle Peaks meeting rooms. To top it off, Keystone's piece de resistance -- a round table Board Room provides unparalleled panoramic views. Built to accentuate nature's beauty, the Conference Center also features two terraces for outdoor functions.

These state-of-the-art facilities are complemented by more than 1,600 exceptional and versatile accommodations, as well as amenities and recreational activities -- all under Keystone's management to make planning a convenient, time saving, one-step task.

From the moment a customer makes contact with the Conference Center, Keystone takes over. Keystone's all inclusive, "one-stop" servicing provides customers with a Conference Services Manager -- one primary contact -- who will coordinate all the details of the meeting or conference, including airfare, room reservations, on-site transportation, audio visual, food and beverage and recreational activity needs.

Averaging 300 days of sunshine, outdoor activities are plentiful at Keystone. Boasting two championship golf courses -- the Keystone Ranch Course and the brand new River Course -- golfers of all levels are invited to play these 36 holes surrounded by majestic peaks, pines and wildflower meadows. In addition to world-class skiing and snowboarding, Keystone offers meeting attendees and their families their choice of year-round activities including ice skating, sleigh rides and snowshoeing in the winter and mountain biking, hiking, whitewater rafting, boating, kayaking, tennis, yoga, fly-fishing, llama treks and scenic gondola rides in the summer, to name a few.

Since the opening of its Conference Center in 1989, Keystone Resort has earned national recognition for outstanding service and performance excellence by meeting planners and professional peers. The number of industry accolades and awards, such as the Pinnacle Award from Successful Meetings, the Gold Key Award from Meetings & Conventions and the Planners' Choice Award from Meeting News, is unmatched by any other mountain venue.
