Panama Partners With MCIntl To Open North American Marketing & Sales Office For MICE

 The Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP) has selected Marketing Challenges Intl. (MCIntl) as the official North American marketing and sales office for the country's growing meetings and conventions business. One of the safest and most modern countries in the region, Panama has seen immense economic growth in recent years and has become a top business hub in Latin America. With this new partnership with MCIntl, as well as new investments in infrastructure, hotels, and meetings facilities, Panama is set to become a leading destination for meetings, conventions, and incentives in the Americas.

This best-kept secret may not hold much longer, however-in 2015 the new Panama Convention Center in the capital city will open, adding an additional 570,505 square feet of meeting space. With a total investment of $193 million, this magnificent new convention center will also feature an auditorium and outdoor amphitheater in state-of-the-art facilities overlooking the iconic Panama Canal, which celebrates 100 years of operation this year.
