Taste Washington Expands To Four Days of Tastings, Events and Excursions

 Taste Washington, the nation's largest single-region wine and food event, expands to four days, March 26-29, 2015. The festivities kick off with the second annual Red & White Party, March 26 at 7 p.m. at AQUA By El Gaucho. This exclusive evening reception will highlight some of Washington's most celebrated wineries, including rare 90-point-plus magnums. Guests are invited to don their best red and white cocktail attire, taste the culinary talents of Executive Chef Wesley Hood and enjoy live music from the Ben Fleck Trio. On the following day, Friday, March 27, experience the newly created Taste Washington on the Farm lunches. Three unique lunch options offer the opportunity to meet farmers, winemakers, chefs, expert oyster growers, artisan cheese makers and urban famers. Tickets are $165; details can be found here.

Created for new wine tasters and connoisseurs alike, The New Vintage takes place on Friday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. This upbeat event is complete with a backdrop of celebrity chef tasting stations, DJ Tina T and winemakers. Tickets are $75 and on sale now.

Taste Washington culminates at the Grand Tasting on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29. With more than 230 Washington State wineries and 70 participating restaurants, event-goers will need two days to explore the offerings.
