Toshiba Satellite M45 Notebook Series
|Toshiba's Digital Products Division has announced the latest line-up of its popular Satellite M45 notebook series, including a new value model and feature enhancements throughout the line to bolster multimedia performance. |
Priced at $1,049 USD, the Satellite M45-S165 features the M45 series' 15.4-inch diagonal widescreen display enhanced with Toshiba TruBrite technology as well as Intel Celeron M processor 370, Microsoft Windows XP Home, 512MB memory, 80GB hard drive and integrated Atheros 802.11 b/g wireless in a
six-pound form factor.
The notebook also includes upgraded specifications throughout the M45 series line - a DVD SuperMulti Double Layer drive compatible with current DVD formats that nearly doubles a recordable DVD's storage capacity in DVD+R format, and 5400 rpm hard drives for quicker access to stored files.
The Satellite M45-S265, priced at $1,299 USD and Satellite M45-S355, priced at $1,499 USD, feature Intel Centrino Mobile Technology with upgraded Intel Pentium M processors, Toshiba Express Media Player for instant access to CD, DVD playback without booting up the Windows operating system, Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG (802.11 b/g) and 100GB hard drives spinning at 5400 rpm for quick file access. The Satellite M45-S355 also features 1024MB memory and 5-in-1 bridge media adapter for the convenient transfer of files with memory sticks.

To help stay connected while traveling for business or leisure, the Satellite M45 line integrates Toshiba ConfigFree software, the company's intuitive graphic connectivity management utility for optimum wireless access.
Included Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 software enables users to better capture, organize, find and share notes gathered from e-mail, meetings, presentations, classes, the Web and other sources. OneNote captures virtually any type of information - ranging from typed notes to audio - in a single convenient place.
