Bay Travel Becomes Maritime Travel @ The Bay
|The Bay has announced that its travel operation, Bay Travel, is being renamed to Maritime Travel @ the Bay. In January 2002, Maritime Travel Inc. purchased the Bay Travel and as a result, all 20 Bay Travel locations will adopt the Maritime Travel brand. ?We are proud to be the chosen partner of Hudson?s Bay Company to become the exclusive operator of travel shops in Bay stores across Canada,? says Gary Gaudry, President, Maritime Travel Inc. ?The Bay is a well trusted brand in the Canadian marketplace and we are excited to build on the loyalty established by the Bay,? said Gaudry.|
Through its retail formats, Hudson?s Bay Company strives to meet the majority of Canadian shopping needs. The introduction of Maritime Travel @ the Bay will enable the Company to provide experienced travel service to all Bay customers. Maritime Travel has been the exclusive operator of travel shops in Bay stores since January 2002.
