Signature Expects Record Numbers For 2014 Sales Meeting In Las Vegas

 Signature Travel Network's 2014 Sales Meeting and Trade Show will take place November 6-8, 2014, at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. This annual meeting brings together over 2,000 of the organization's travel consultants, managers, agency owners, and supplier partners for three days.

Industry experts and Signature's senior staff will lead 68 workshops on the latest technology tools and enhancements, review the network's 2015 marketing plan, and preview the new hotel, land, cruise, and destination specialist preferred partners and programs for the new year. Travel consultants, agency owners and managers will also share best practices to leverage Signature's programs and preferred partner relationships.

In addition, Signature partner companies will present exclusive workshops on selling luxury hotels and resorts, guided family vacations, cruises, and independent vacations designed for ultimate experiences, and more.

Diana Nyad, the celebrated American author, journalist, motivational speaker, and long-distance swimmer, will be the keynote speaker. Nyad gained national attention in 2013 when, at the age of 64, in her fifth and final attempt, she successfully fulfilled her lifelong dream of completing the 110-mile swim from Cuba to Florida. After the grueling 53-hour journey, a breathless Nyad told the world, "I have three messages: one is we should never ever give up; two is you are never too old to chase your dreams; and three is it looks like a solitary sport, but it takes a team."

Central to Signature's success are the network's turnkey technology and marketing programs, which will be on display within the newly designed Marketing & Technology Pavilions and in workshops focused on Signature's industry-leading database management tools. Consultants will also learn new ways to incorporate Twitter, emerging social media platforms, and digital marketing into customer communications.

Updates on all participating preferred supplier products will be presented during thousands of timed networking sessions with Signature's travel consultants as well as at the annual tradeshow. The tradeshow will feature over 425 individual stands, representing over 800 hotel, cruise, tour, destination specialist, and specialty travel partner companies from around the world.

As part of its focus to attract and retain young consultants and travelers, Signature will offer networking events for its Young Advisor Community (Y.A.C), travel professionals under the age of 40, as well as training sessions that incorporate successful sales and marketing strategies for selling to and serving the needs of Millennials.
