Signature Travel Network Opens Its Annual Sales Meeting & Trade Show

 Signature Travel Network opened its annual three-day Sales Meeting & Trade Show at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas today. This year, the Sales Meeting hosts more than 2,100 attendees, including more than 1200 Signature travel consultants representing 91% of Signature's member agencies. Preferred supplier partners attending from 57 countries worldwide include cruise lines, land and tour suppliers, destination specialists, tourism boards, hotels and resorts, and specialty suppliers.

Alex Sharpe, Signature president and CEO stated, "At this year's Sales Meeting, we are able to celebrate continued growth. Collectively, Signature now generates more than $6 billion in annual travel sales, a double-digit increase from last year. Best of all, our advance 2015 sales are growing at a faster rate than this time last year, so we are confident that next year's results will exceed our ambitious expectations."

Throughout the three days of the conference, Signature members have a choice of attending 60 seminars, including sessions on destination training, social media, luxury and niche market sales, client database analysis and segmentation, digital marketing strategies, as well as technology-focused workshops that spotlight Signature's state-of-the-art tools. In addition, Signature members will participate in networking sessions with preferred suppliers in attendance and meet with preferred partner representatives on Saturday, November 8, at the annual tradeshow featuring 450 booths and pavilions. In conjunction with the tradeshow, Signature partners have committed over $700,000 worth of educational trips for the travel consultant prize drawing.

This year's keynote speaker is Diana Nyad, who successfully fulfilled her life-long dream of completing the 110-mile swim from Cuba to Florida at the age of 64. "Diana Nyad's unique combination of personal passion, determination, and her focus on teamwork, makes her the perfect keynote speaker for Signature's most important event of the year," stated Sharpe. "Her accomplishments remind me of Signature's unique, team-oriented culture.
